About this speaker
Although, originally born and raised in southern California, Jeff Widgren has resided in Overland Park, Kansas for the last 21 years. He has a beautiful wife of 28 years, and 3 fantastic children, who he has been blessed with.
Jeff has spent much of his career as a systems engineer and manager for IT organizations such as Dell Technologies, Citrix, Tintri, and local system integrators. Specifically focused on data center networking, storage, and compute systems.
He began his technology career as a full-time software developer, as well as a technology classroom instructor on topics such as Windows Server, TCP/IP, Cisco Router Configuration, Networking Essentials, and more. For many years he was a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer + Internet.
With his technology background, a life-long passion for photography, even owning a studio in the late 80's, along with having the opportunity to live-stream for his church for the last 11 years, it was a pretty natural fit for Jeff to start his own production company in early 2020, called Stream Sharks.
Jeff is also the founder and host of the Zoom Test Kitchen. A community of like-minded production professionals who meet weekly to dig into the depths of Zoom and its behaviors.
